Ginger chicken

This homemade Ginger Chicken is amazingly easy to make right at home. A quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for a busy night.

Ingredients

Marination

  • 500 g chicken
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

For cooking

  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp thin sliced ginger
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped chili
  • 2-3 tbsp tomato puree
  • parsley

Instructions

  • In a pan add oil and ginger. Fry for 3 minutes then add cumin seeds. Mix and add chicken. Fry chicken on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion and chilli. Fry for a minute and add tomato puree. Cook until the chicken is tender
  • Sprinkle ginger, chilli and parsley. Serve and Enjoy!!
