Make-Ahead Method
- Tuna Noodle Casserole can be made 1-2 days ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.
- If baking from a cold state, add 15 additional minutes of covered baking time.
For Storage
To store tuna casserole, transfer it to an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator for up to three days. To extend the shelf life of the casserole, you can also freeze it for up to two months.
For Freezing
To freeze the casserole, place it in a freezer-safe container or a freezer-safe bag, and label it with the date and contents. When you are ready to eat the frozen casserole, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight, then bake it in the oven until it is heated through and bubbly. Be sure to use the casserole within a few days of thawing,
What do you need?

- onion
- garlic

How to make itt??
Boil the paste noodle. in a pan add butter, onions, garlic and flour. Cook for 5 minutes. Then chicken broth and milk. Stir constantly and cook for 5-6 minutes
Add peas and tuna when the mixture thickens. Cook for 5 minutes. Pour over pasta in the 9×13 pan. Add in cheddar cheese and toss to coat. In a small bowl, use a fork to mix together bread crumbs, parmesan, and olive oil. Sprinkle over the pasta.
Bake fore 20-25 minutes on 180° or according to your oven. Serve and enjoy!!

Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pound noodle
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups frozen
- 6 ounces tuna
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven and lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and add pasta to prepared pan.
- In a frying pan add butter and onion. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic cloves and flour. Sauté for 3 minutes. Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Once mixture has thickened, stir in peas, and tuna. Pour over pasta in the 9x13 pan. Add in cheddar cheese and toss to coat. In a small bowl, use a fork to mix together bread crumbs, parmesan, and olive oil. Sprinkle over the pasta.
- Bake fore 20-25 minutes on 180° or according to your oven. Serve and enjoy!!
